Pas de nouvelles bonnes nouvelles

Encore d�sol� ... plus de photos depuis des mois.. voire des ann�es. J'ai succomb� � la f�n�antise. Apr�s le tsunami en plus je n'ai plus trop trouv� le temps de faire des photos quotidiennement car j'ai commenc� mon travail � temps partiel pour le magazine Gavroche. (www.gavroche-thailande.com) pour lequel je fais du SR et de temps en temps je donne de mes photos aussi. JE suis en train de r�aliser un vieux r�ve qui devenait une n�cessit� : avoir un vrai site Web, ou portfolio online. Seul s�same pour d�marche les clients dans la presse et la photo d'entreprise (il n'y a plus que cela pour faire vivre les photographes de presse en ce moment il parra�t). Bonjour � tous. Je m'excuse de ne pas avoir donn� de nouvelles ou mis de photos online depuis si longtemps. J'ai �t� tr�s occup� par le tsunami. J'aurais plein de choses � vous montrer. Suphan Buri et son Aquarium

If u love fishes today u'll be happy ;) I believe Pattaya have a bigger aquarium, i'll let u know when i'll visit it. Singapore must be the biggest one in the area, but these one in Suphan Buri is aready very nice to visit. Thx to Kate to show me ;)

Aquarium around 45 km far from Suphan Buri. Nice one. Many students come from all the country to see the different species. like those one come from Pitchit in the north.

Very nice fishes to see.

The aquariums are big and they even have a 8m tunnel to see better the fishes.

Hello everybody, here my first pics since long ;););)

I just got my new camera, a professional Digital SLR camera.

I'm just getting used to it and i need time to take better pics... but here i show u my first sets.

People enjoy to make up and act like Drag queen for this event.

These year the Gay pride was more political than last year, as the "Right hand party" claim to be involve in the gay problems. But in the street almost socialist leaders were there.

But here come the good news.. with the money of the insurance and some money that i loan to the bank i just bough a professional camera so i wish i'll make better pics and at least i'll be able to resume my Web.

So.. soon new pics are coming.. about Paris and France first as i'm in France actually and after in August about thailand and Asie..

BIG PROBLEM

Hello everybody.

Yesterday some thai people stole my photo bag with all my equipment and my passport.. and other important and expensive stuff.

I am really sad and so u'll understand i cannot put pics anymore online for the moment.

I hope be able to have money from insurance.. some part of my equipment were insured. But it'll cost a lot to buy the same or quite same equipment.

THx for ur support during these 11 Months in asia.. and hope have a camera soon again to show u these nice contries.

Nouvel an chinois � Bangkok

Today i went to see the Chinese new year in the local Chinatown (Yaowarat road and around). Here some pics.

Chinese community is very important in Thailand. Thai people have all chinese blood more or less if u follow stricly the local history.

People praying respect to Buddha using candels or encens.

Food and toys are here to help u to celebrate these important day for the chinese community.

Childrens enjoy the animations in the street with their parents.

The second saturday of each january is officialy the children day here. I go out to take some pics of all of those nice swetties.
Shame i was ill the day before and just recover so i was in town quite late ;)

J'ai � peine termin� de c�l�brer le passage en l'an 2004 que d�s 5 h du matin il fallait se r�veiller pour prendre le bus, direction Siam Rep, Cambodge, pour aller voir de plus pr�t cette merveille qu'est Angkor Wat.

As soon as new year finished i was on the way to Siam Rep, Cambodgia.

After just 3 hours of sleep me and Kate were going to Kao San road to take the bus.
As u can see not many people and the few who where here were quite ... hmm i let u see ;) no i kid they were not all like this ;)

After the festivities.. thai people destroy the ballon, yesterday synonims of party. But a nostalgic and quite drunk one bravely save life of some of them ::))
/ The bus to the cambodgian border... we should be 40 in the bus.. i let u count;. we were in a 60 seats bus.. thx for lie the kao san agencies ;)

When u cross the border of Cambodgia for the first time, and even again it's always the same scenes u see.. poverty, poverty and poverty.

Some people live along the garbage. In the no man's land between Thailand and Cambodgia u can see place where people are like separate from the lambga tourist by barbed.
Quite impressive for who dont take the time to notice. My feeling was to touch the 1/3 world really.

I was very impress and touch by these 2 persons. Specially the young boy, nude (as many in Cambodgia i'll see later) and who spend his time walkind of the sidewalk of the noman's land.. not for ask money..
or not all time. and the old woman who nicely pose for me. Notice her nice golden teeths.

Nouvel an � Bangkok

My first new year outside of France.... it was nice. Thai know how to celebrate too, no soucy ;)

Rama 8 bridge, the day before new year i come to take pics of the preparation of the event. / A small amusement parc have been built around the bridge.

Kiiling the time doing settings with my tripod to take pics of the fireworks i decide to give life to these church ;) suddently she begin to move by the magic of the slow speed combine with a slow movement of the tripod. LOL

Waiting the fireworks and the countdown begin / The 31 i was not under Rama 8 bridge, too much crowed, i was on a bridge advice by a newspaper to take pics, few photographers finaly but friendly ones.
I understand later seeing the pics in the newspaper it was not the best place finaly... Mai pen rai as thai says ;) not important it was nice here too. LOL

Noel a Bangkok

Christmas is celebrate here like in europe,even if it's not a buddhist date. Probably because there is many tourist here, and because it's a good occasion to make business ;)

Those pics have been taken the 24 december at the Emporium shopping center. Quite expensive and trandy place in Bangkok.

Luang Prabang - Laos

J'ai quitte Chiang mai il y a 3 jours maintenant. Apres avoir rendu visite aux honorables pensionnaires chinois du zoo de la ville je me suis fixe pour but d'aller voir les temples de luang prabang et si possible hanoi au vietnam et la baie d'halong. le voyage entre chiang mai et luang prabang peut se faire en bateau ou en avion... l'avion je n'aime pas surtout une compagnie laotienne, desole pour les prejuges, donc reste le bateau car le bus ne fait pas de liaison a mon grand etonnement entre les 2 villes. pour le bateau 2 options . speed boat ou slow boat.. 5h pour le premier, 2 jours pour le second. qu'explique cette difference... je vous l'explique apres ma coupure pub a moi.. j'ai fin et vous en saurez plus bientot.. suspens :P je suis de retour... il fait froid le soir en ce moment et dans cette partie de l"asie. le clavier n'est pas mon amis car pas d'accent mais ca va.. j'assure en Rodier.. oui on a une culture pub ou on ne l'as pas :P donc bref.. treve de blabla j'ai lu sur le Net que le speed boat ca arrache et c dangereux.. j'ai donc pris le slow boat.. en plus j'avais le temps pourquoi se priver.. j'ai donc pris le package 2 jours et uen nuit sur le bateau.. au final ct long et chiant car le paysage etait presque tj pareil mais ca va.. sympa a faire une fois ds sa vie, mais pas 2.. non merci :) l'avion la prochaine fois ou si je suis d'humeur rock and roll... le speed boat :) la suite demain manger et dodo apres sont mes prochaines occupations/ see ya

Like in Vientiane Luang Prabang have a big taste of France... like the postoffice and even architecture, with many collonials houses around.

The french gouverment still help the town and finance many renovations, like here renovations of streets in all the city.

Monks and temples are the best things u can meet here ;) The monks are really friendly and i make 2 new monks friends there.

The Luang Prabang temple's architectry is caracterize big long roofs with special decoration in the middle, as u can see. It's very nice and different from Thai style.

Chiang Mai and Thai Prime minister do all for have his panda in the zoo. It cost millions of baths for the thai people, but at least became a "must see" place for them.

Pandas are not often rent by chinese gouvernment, so thailand make a nice place to receive them and the tourist.

As i was telling u... i'm not sure they love eachother already ... just let u see./ Toys are sell to make more profit and pay the expensive place where the pandas live.

Father day 5 dec 2003

Sorry for this long break without pics online... i was tired of my 4 months work travelling inside Thailand. I recover now and will put the last days online soon.
I start today with pics of the Thai father's day, a celebration much more important than in my country, cause the thai are really devote to their nice king.

King's Rama IX birthday is celebrate everywhere in thailand the 5 december.
His portraits are everywhere in the street and lights comes to decorate the official buildings.

King's birthday mean father day here... and lights are the major way of celebrate this event. Here an administrativ building near Sanam Luang. Bangkok. It's not X mas but look like ;)

Aujourdhui jt a Phetchabun. Petite ville du centre du pays, jt le seul etranger a voir la fete locale annuelle. Typiquement thai et sympatique une immertion totale ds la culture thai et limpression d'etre un martien car jt vraiment le seul etranger tres marrant.

Vientiane, mes premiers pas au Laos

J'ai du partir en Thailande pour refaire un visa touristique. Mais je suis très content car jùai découvert un pays très sympatique et m'a fois très similaire à la Thaïlande que je connais de mieux en mieux maintenant.

Le Laos me fait penser a ce que pourrait �tre la belgique par rapport �Ela France : un petit fr�re qui parle presque la m�me langue ;p

For the first time i take the first class train in Thailand, to go to Nong Kai, close Laotian border.
It is a nice experience : confortable and quiet. Just the personnal not so nice, i was not lucky certainly.

L'arc de triomphe de Pracoxai. Copie plus tape a l'oeil de notre arc de triomphe parisien. je n'en sais pas plus sur sonhistoire pour le moment, desole.

France have a certain importance here as u can see : here the French alliance of Vientiane.
A very nice and modern place; better than the one in Bangkok :p

Europeen architecture. Some places like this can be seen in Vientiane but all of them are close to be destroyed.
Due to a lack of money i think. They are here like an ghost of the old french collonialism.

Ministères, pâtisseries, vins dans les restaurants, etc. On se croirait presque en France.
Une très agréable impression à vivre à l'autre bout du monde et dans un des pays les plus pauvres au monde.

Even Laos is poor they built some new and impressiv places / 3.15 pm school exit.

Wat Sisaket. I make friends with some monks there. I'll visit the town tomorrow with 2 of them.

Erawan parc and waterfall. The nicest one i see in Thailand for the moment.

I visit a cabaret show 2 days ago, with Katoys (transexual). Only few were nice , the other ugly, but the show was very nice.

Nice show with nice woman (men?). Sometimes funny, sometimes more "strass".

Nice performance of an half man, half woman ;) then sexy katoy and katoy au bois dormant :p

Pattaya is not only the city where u can find easily sex. It's also many other things.. like elephant and so on.. Later more pics..

Notice about my pics

As my Nikon D 100 is under reparation i use a nikon 995 coolpix to shoot actually.
The format of the capture is not same as u can see.. i dont resize the frame just the sensor is not the same size... just notice for people who wonder why my pics look different frame or size than usual ;)

I should have back my camera next friday the 12 september. I hope cause i miss it really and for my work it'll be very important. Shame it have been damaged last time in Isaan.

Few people to enjoy this entertainment, shame. Many few promotion have been done. I was one of the lucky guest, with few kids and one old chinese man.

France is sometimes present in this country, specially on some building i saw already some copy of Eiffel tower.
This one is particulary funny cause it is use as a TV reception / Nice bb in a silk shop. Channabot.

Today i visit the very nice Khao Yai national parc. 200 KM far from BKK more or less.

The wild life will be explained better if u use a local guide.

Big leaves of a tree (family of Tek tree) / Ants

An interesting species of spider : the crown spider / funny animal too that get roll on his self if u touch him, see above.

Biggggg specimen of tree.

Place that contain many iron, where elephant and tiger comes to have the minerals they need for digestion and health / Nice trekkings and walkings can be made here.

The parc is full of nice and wild animals... some not so nice as u'll see below.

The last animal u saw up, sangsues we say in french had enjoy my legs and i find 5 ones on my legs when go back to the car.
I know i should not have take my legs protections after visit a waterfall, but i didnt imagine these animals were so much addict to my blood.
Hopefully not hard to get rid off from skin, just i was surprised to see one even got in my pant and suck my back, bad bad (see pic of the rear of my pant).
It's not hurt, i just hope will not be infect or catch disease cause those vampires :P

Today i visit the biggest crocodile farm of the world. In Samut Prakan, close Bangkok.

U'll see after the show with the crocodiles and other part of these parc that have strangly much more animals than only crocodiles. For entertain the tourist i suppose.. crual tourism :(

The tamer wai the guest before the show and spread water on him and around.

Now the tamers go take the animals in the water like vulgar doggy ;)

The show properly began with some respect and gestual front of the animal before tamers make the spectators scared by their performance.

Where do i let my money ? u wanna kiss me ? I'm not scared ^_^

This serie show a think i didn't see before or imagine. The tamer not only try to put his hand a little in the mouth of the animal
he open a special pocket in this mouth and put deeply his hand : WOW !

Who want a nice bb ? / crocodiles in the farms.

The worst i find is to show bb tiger. TOO BAD in my eyes. I saw more than 4 tiger babies and 3 adults :( :( :( :( they'll be better in the wild life.
They are here for the business of their owner that make pay tourist to show themselves with a "wild animal". Poor tiger that are chained on the ground :(
It was the only bad things i saw there but enough to make me revolt. like some elephant exhib in Pucket or else. i don't like but just can show my opinion. i cannot change some thai inspiration for such business.

Buddhist day today : Khao Phansa day. It represent the first day of the rainy season for buddhist. The bouddhist monks have to stay at their own temple all day and night / Blind cat in a temple.

Graduation day in Chulalongkorn university. Bangkok.

The princess give herself the diploms and after the ceremony tradition is that
the first year student at Chula university lay down when her car pass the way.

Students take pics with their friends and family to celebrate their graduation for bachelor degree or master degree.
Man have blue dress, woman white ones.

Woman wear the white uniform. Same time art student wear their home made dress.. artist not for nothing ^_^

Taking pics became a real sport, so much people... / One custom want that the student make a round and put the graduate in the middle singing and shouting their section song, nice to see.

Today i visit with a thai friend the famous Chulalongkorn university, in the center of Bangkok.

One of the main university building (pink flat symbol of the university, purple was cause the princess come the night for a show if remember good)
/ friday market inside the campus.

The new scientific building / The library and other rooms in a crown shape building, very nice.

Political science's building (mix between thai and new architectur) / the first year student have to wera white shoes and sockets for the girls.

Ko samet

Ce week-end j'ai �t� invit� par mon amie Aom � me joindre � une s�jour sur l'�le de Ko Samet avec ses coll�gues de travail. Ce fut tr�s sympa et cela m'a permis de d�couvrir une autre �le de la Tha�lande. Ko Samet se situe � peu pr�s � 200 km � l'Est de bangkok. Comptez 4 h de trajet.

A young thai look at the fake cards, seem to interest him. After i saw it was the owner's son ;) / Just fill the form, sign & bring one pic of u. Then wait 10 mn for see the result...

... The fake international journalist card is very nice. I choose Journalist Photographer like it's my dreams work ^_^ / Opposite (right) my real french journalist card.
I prefer the fake one. the pic is more nice and look more professional :) hihi
Then u can choose the date of expire u want.. i choose 2008, why not.. it's for fun :p i'll try one day to enter an exhibition to see if work or not...

One thai commercial center, outside Bangkok. This one is probably the more attractive for his wildlife and exotic indoor animals. Have nice and high waterfall inside the shopping mall, parrots, koy fish in several spaces and (unseen before) giant fishes from amazonia.

In fact i stop in this commercial center just to meet a friend. After we go to the wax model musuem, outside Bangkok still.
Here some pics of these suprising wax models, different from the one we have in europe, cause look like much more to reality
and show essence of thailand (royal family and famous monks) and not pop stars or football players ^_^

Tonight Hong Kong friends invite me in a cool place in Bangkok, the "Bed supperclub" in Sukkhumvit. The concept is simple : u spend the night on a bed. Unique and interesting.
I really like this place : good house music, nice meal, nice waitress. U can even have massages or see a fortune teller (first pic).
Some surprises will even happen in the night.

For Visakha Puja day i visit Puthamunton parc (have to check orthograph). I see the king's daughter, but cannot take pics of her, not allowed.
So i take pic of the PM that was standing on the way to her Roll's Royce.
The rain begin to fall heavily but, like an english guard, he don't move and don't care : good job :)
My side i was completly wet too cause royal service ask people to put umbrellas down when the princess arrived. Question of respect /

After i go to Wat Po and take some pics of the monk and people who come to pray for this important day. Most of the pics i took were not good, shame. Problem with the camera or with the photographer... hihi.

Books for thai gay tourist available in some shops in Bangkok. Then what i find less nice is the Thai books for lovers. Here some sentences are not nice and look like more a sexual tourist guide. I'll show u other pages later.

Plus sympathique une vue du parc Lumpini. Un des jolis parcs de la ville. Certainement le plus c�l�bre d'ailleurs. T�t le matin des cours de Taichi et le soir d'a�robic y sont dispens�s gratuitement. Photos � venir.

Krabi ou le paradoxe de la modernite

Me voila a Krabi. J`y etais deja alle il y a 2 ans et demie mais depuis tout a change. Je regrette que les hotels soient tous devenus plus huppe.... je raconte la suite plus tard car ce clavier menerve.

me revoil� mais bon comme c mon anniv aujourd'hui et qu'il est 21h je ne vais pas passer ma soir�e sur Internet ;)

enfin, je suis � Krabi et c'est un endroit tr�s joli ... malheureusement il a bien chang� depuis mon dernier passage et ils ont tout fait pour viser une client�le plus hupp� je pense. Actuellement il y a pas mal de thai dans mon hotel et je me demande comment ils font pour payer 1500 baths une chambre ( ils ont les moyens certainement mais n'en ont pas l'air pourtant)... enfin.. je raconterai demain ou plus tard la suite.. comme j'ai perdu ou plutot oubli� ma disquette que j'utilise pour uploader mes photos sur le blog ds un cybercaf� je ne peux plus mettre de photo online. Je vais donc partir � la recherche d'une nouvelle disquette et vous montrez la beaut� des lieux qui m'entoure et ce qui me d�range aussi :p

Ko Lanta

Enfin une journ�e sympa avec du soleil par moment et des plages plutot attrayantes. J'ai m�me pris des couleurs sans m'en apercevoir -coups de soleil il s'av�rera plus tard :(- et je suis arriv� � me lever � 6h pour assister au lever du soleil. Bof il y avait alors des nuages ;P
J'ai lou� une moto pour la journ�e et j'ai parcouru la fa�ade est de l'�le.
La route est absolument impraticable, c'est incroyable pour une destination qui se veut touristique. Mais bon je dirait que je r�serve cet endroit aux globtrotteurs et autres babacools plus qu'aux familles nombreuses et une amie m'a dit que cette �le a fait beaucoup de progr�s car elle n'�tait pas habit�e il y peu encore. Quand m�me, la route principale m�riterait d'�tre aplanie. D'ailleurs je n'ai pas vu la m�me client�le ici qu'� Krabi ou Phucket. L'�le � sa propre faune ;)

Voici donc quelques photos glan�es le long de la c�te est de Ko Lanta. Pour remarque, la facade est de l'�le est loin d'�tre l'�le abondonn�e de toute civilisation, comme certain pourrait le croire en ayant vu l'�mission �ponyme de TF1 l'an pass�.

H�tel dans le nord de l'�le et plage. Un temps pas toujours tr�s beau lors de ma visite et des plages pas aussi belles que je l'imaginais ne m'ont pas laiss� un souvenir imp�rissable des lieux.

Few people when i had visited the island as u can see.

Children in Ko Lanta enjoy the sea... Some go fishing (muslim fisherman's children) others play with fishing net or simply jump in water ;)

Some places are to sell or rent but not so much cause business seem to grow up as many new places are being built (see the next pics) / Dog.

I was surprised to see how many new hotels and houses were being built when i visit Ko Lanta.

Beaches.. not nice weather most of time (2nd pic).. shame.

Roads on this island are a real nightmare. Incredible to think that have a 5 stars hotel here.

The Pimalai resort (5 stars) has customers cause has a direct link to the pier with nice boats. The road to go there is incredibly bad. So only one solution : come from the sea.

Long tail boats, always the best way to move around the island in Thailand.

Elephants for trek are available on the island, when i was there noone to ride them / My hotel beach / Garbages are collect but not often taken away i think.

Insect skeleton (exoskeleton) i play with them in my bedroom. Seem like real one's but it's empty :)

Journ�e encore d�cevante, ce n'est pas la joie en ce moment, mon voyage dans le sud commence mal. D�j� j'ai tr�s mal dormi car l'h�tel o� je dormais a une discoth�que coller � ses murs et la musique ne s'est arr�t�e qu'� 2 h du matin.

Alors j'ai grave mes archives photos et regarde la TV malaise, pas mal du tout et tr�s modernes les programmes.

Apr�s le matin je pense arriver � rejoindre Ko Lipe ou Ko Tarutao comme j'aurais d�j� du le faire la veille. Mais non, cette fois ci c'est le taxi qui n'arrivait pas et impossible de trouver un taxi � Satun pour m'emmener � l'embarcadaire. Une vrai cata ce p�riple pour Tarutao. Bref, comme j'avais bien les nerfs j'ai d�cid� de ne plus all� sur cette �le qui ne veut pas de moi apparement. Je me replie donc sur Ko Lanta. Et l� ca va mieux, je dois juste attendre 3 h pour le mini van mais j'esp�re qu'il m'emm�nera � destination.

Pendant mon transfert minivan on s'est pris une bonne averse tropicale et quand le chauffeur devait sortir pour ouvrir la porte aux passagers dehors c'�tait les chuttes du Niagara en quelques secondes seulement.

Sinon le voyage pour arriver ici a �t� p�rilleux � mes yeux, normal pour le commun des thais je pense, c'est-�-dire que le chauffeur du bus roule comme un malade et double l� o� il ne devrait pas.. en plus il prend les virages tellement vite que je pensais qu'on allait faire du 2 roues � un moment :p

Enfin, je sais pourquoi je n'aime pas le bus.. ici moins qu'en France encore ;) mais j'avais une superbe petite thai derri�re moi et sa maman qui �taient adorable, ca m'a aid� � rester zen pendant le voyage :p

J'esp�re que les mauvaises impressions que j'ai du sud pour le moment vont s'arr�ter quand je serai � Ko Lanta. Pour le moment il pleut mais on me garantie que ca va s'arr�ter et qu'il ne pleut pas � Ko Lanta. On verra.

Je suis � Trang dans un cyber caf� et j'aime bien cette petite ville, elle a l'air plus sympa que Hat Yai � premi�re vue. J'ai vu quelques sujets int�ressant en photo, mais comme il pleut je peine un peu � sortir mon appareil, en plus d'avoir 2 sacs � dos � mon bras.. ca ne facilite pas les prises de vue.. mais je vais essayer quand m�me. Ils font des travaux dans le centre ville et la terre est rouge comme les terrains de Roland Garros, c'est tr�s joli, je vais essay� de prendre une photo de cela.. sinon j'ai rep�r� un caf� avec une belle d�co et une jolie lumi�re.. je vais essay� aussi de prendre une photo.. peut �tre un autoportrait car il n'y avait pas de client quand je suis pass� � l'instant ;)

Ca y est j'ai fait les photos mais pas tj comme je l'aurais souhait� � cause de la pluie et de mon paquettage, hehe.

Les nuages sont si bas � l'horizon qu'ils jouent avec les collines environnantes...

Voila mon caf� dont j'aimais bien l'atmosphere, mais bon je n'ai pas pu faire la photo que je voulais avec le miroir et le moine en reflet car le patron du bar n'avait pas l'air tres cool :p

Tuk tuk � la sauce Trang, comme de vieilles Vespa rallong�es en fait. A ce propos Bangkok et la Tha�lande regorge de Vespa c'est incroyable, on se croirait presque � Rome :) bient�t des photos � ce sujet.

Malaisie et Ko Tarutao

Bonjour, hier j'ai pass� la journ�e � faire tamponner mon visa � la fronti�re malaisienne. Aujourd'hui je pars pour une �le du sud, proche aussi de la Malaisie.

Je file car je suis en retard, photos et commentaires � venir.

Le poste fronti�re malais.

Autre point de vue de la fronti�re avec le croissant islamique malais en m�daillon, tout au long du chemin qui relie les 2 postes fronti�res.

Un peu de nourriture Made in Malaysia, on appr�ciera la version malaise de l'Ovomaltine. Je ne pense pas que ce soit une copie car c'est un produit Novartis, enfin c'est ce que dit l'�tiquette... J'ai v�rifi� et il s'av�re que la Tha�lande a aussi ce produit. Il s'agit donc du nom asiatique du produit.

Ca y est je suis dans le sud.

Arriv� � Sura Thani et changement de programme, direction Hat Yai.
Je suis parti pour le Sud hier soir � 18h mais j'ai chang� mon programme au dernier moment, Au lieu d'aller � Krabi et vais aller plus au sud, pr�s de la fronti�re malaisiennepour faire tamponer mon visa � nouveau. Apr�s 12 h et quelques de train je dois encore perdre 4 h pour aller � Hat Yai, la ville du sud de la Thailande la plus peupl�e.
J'ai de la chance j'ai une amie qui habites l�-bas et qui m'a fait visiter la ville et ces environs :)
Je suis arriv� vers midi � Hat Yai et l'apr�s-midi j'ai visit� Songkla une petite ville proche qui est situ�e du c�t� du golfe de Siam.
En fait, cette ville est situ�e entre le lac de Songkla et le Golfe de Siam. Un point de passage pour des contenairs qui viennent d�poser leur marchandise venant de Singapour ou d'autres pays.
J'ai ainsi pu revoir la mer, pas tr�s beau, peu de monde mais quelle joie de pouvoir contempler la beaut� de la nature, cela me manquait beaucoup et j'imagine avec attrait mes prochains jours dans les flots bleu :)
Bon je suis tr�s fatigu� et je ne vais pas tra�ner ce soir. Voil� donc mes premi�res photos du Sud de la THa�lande � quelques 950 km au Sud de Bangkok.
Demain matin je vais en taxi collectif � la fronti�re malaisienne pour faire tamponner mon visa, je n'irai pas jusqu'� Kuala Lumpur, une autre fois.
Je pr�f�re aller profiter des plages de sables fins. Je resterai le soir � Hat Yai pour visiter la ville avec mon amie Jaa. Autre bonne nouvelle, Kate va ma rejoindre
la semaine prochaine et je ne serai pas tout seul pour profiter des couchers de soleil.. cool :p hihi c'est dommage de profiter en �goiste des merveilles de la nature je trouve :p

Arrive Sura Thani after 13 hours of train. It was too hot, contrary to Chiang Mai. Coca cola provide the name of the towm, God thx America.

On Songkla sea border people like to see the fishboat going to work.

Fisherman make burn some fireworks in honor of Rama 5 son's to wish luck to their fishing campaign and to be protect. They open the fireworks when arrive close to the statue.

People enjoy fishing and play in the Gulf of Siam. Few people in the sea when i visit there, cause late and end of the nice season.

More or less like in Stockholm u have a mermaid front of the gulf entrance ;)

D�part pour le Sud

Je vais partir pour le Sud de la Tha�lande cette apr�s-midi. Je passerai � la fronti�re malaisienne pour un nouveau visa. Alors pas de pic of the day ce jour et peut-�tre pas dans les jours prochains non plus.. � voir.

Today i leave for south Thailand and cross the malaysian border for new visa. So no pics for today and maybe not for few days.. depend of the internet cafe and connection i'll find.

Derniers jours � Chiang Mai et retour � Bangkok :(

H�las toute bonne chose ayant une fin, il faut se resoudre � rentrer � Bkk. Je prend le train du retour cette apres midi � 17h et j'arriverai pr�s de 12h apr�s... compl�tement cass� jen suis sur.

Me revoil� pour vous raconter mes derniers jours dans le nord. Voici pour les journ�es des 15 et 16 avril :

Le 16 nous avons fait un circuit touristique comprenant une balade � dos d'�l�phant, du bamboo rafting, visite de 2 villages d'ethnies minoritaires dans le nord (Karen et Hmong) et d'une cascade. Superbe journ�e.
Concernant la balade � dos d'�l�phant ce fut tr�s agr�able et impressionant pour une premi�re fois : poils durs du pachiderme, hauteur par rapport au sol,
sensations particuli�res de se d�placer lentement sur un animal si imposant et si s�r de lui.
J'ai �t� cependant d��u de voir les cornacs pousser trop fort les jeunes �l�phantaux ou les vieux pour qu'ils aillent plus vite.

Nous avons vu de tr�s jolis paysages et pass� par des endroits surprenant comme ce pont suspendu. M�me pas peur ;)

Nous avons en effet choisi une formule qui nous a fait visiter pas moins de 3 cascades diff�rentes et les r�cents palais (+ou- 15 ans) du roi et de la reine, dans la r�gion du parc de Doi Inthanon.

Un peu apr�s avoir visit� trois jolies cascades nous nous sommes rendu sur le site des palais du roi et de la reine. Tr�s beaux nouveaux monuments � la gloire de la royaut�. Des jardins et des temples magnifiques.

Nouvelles du 12 au 17 avril.

Ce samedi 12 avril nous avons retrouv� la copine de Kate comme pr�vu. Elle est venue nous chercher en voiture � notre Guest house avec son mari et leur fille. Direction le temple de Doi Suthep, � 1 h du centre ville de Chiang Mai.

Le site est tout simplement superbe. Haut lieu touristique et symbolique du Nord du pays c'est un incontournable passage pour qui visite Chiang Mai et sa r�gion.

Le site de Doi Suthep se situe en haut d'une montagne et l'acc�s prend un peu de temps et fait souffrir les moteurs. Apr�s il faut encore grimper � pied ou prendre une cr�maill�re, ce que nous avons fait (cf photo ci-dessus).
Une fois arriv� en haut le spectacle est magnifique, de nombreux temples et repr�sentations de buddha ornent le sommet de la montagne.

DOI SUTHEP

Thai people pray devotion to buddha images, put water and honor their day buddhas (each thai have a specific buddha's day, one for each day of the week). On the middle pic u can see a thai honor his day buddha.

People come to pray, walking around the Chedi. Or pray front of some of the nice buddha statues.

Light candels and burn encens in respect to buddha / monk who give bracelet that wish luck to people who visit the temple / friends who bring me there.

Doi Suthep Chedi / White elephant statue / other temple behind the principal one (people makes bells ringing)

Apr�s avoir visit� Doi Suthep nous nous sommes rendus dans une fabrique d'ombrelles, � quelque 15 kilom�tres au nord de la ville. Je n'ai pas pu r�sister ces ombrelles sont trop belles et vraiment pas ch�res.

La confection des ombrelles se fait � la main pour la pluspart des mod�les mais certains motifs sont imprim�s par des machines.
Pour le touriste on ne montre que le fait main. Les ouvriers se feront d'ailleurs un plaisir de dessiner sur tout support (votre pantalon, une chemise, un porte monnaie, etc.)
le motif qui vous plaira / Employee show they handmade work and can draw on any surface if u want a simple draw (pant, wallet, and so on.)

Ombrellas are shipping all around the world, like here Germany and USA / Kate's friends family and I.

SONGKRAN EVENT

La f�te de Songkran dure 3 jours et pour certaines personnes et certaines provinces recul�es la f�te peut se poursuivre encore. La plupart des Tha�landais vont rejoindre leur famille pour c�l�brer la nouvelle ann�e. Les plus t�m�raires et jovials iront jeter de l'eau sur les passants.
C'est une caract�ristique des plus symbolique et des plus sympatique de cette f�te. Vous verez ainsi avec les photos qui vont suivrent tout un floril�ge de techniques visant � innonder ou a humidifier son prochain :)

Mais pour commencer je vais vous parler de l'�lection de Miss Songkran. Et oui les Miss c'est aussi une sp�cialit� locale et la journ�e a commenc�e par le d�fil� des pr�tendante sur des v�los. Notez qu'elles ne doivent rouler leur bicyclette que d'une main, l'autre �tant d�volue au port de la dite ombrelle. Voici quelques jolies participantes au concours. D�part devant l'office du tourisme � 7 h du matin, puis petit tour en ville et arr�t sur la place Tae pa pour enfin proc�der au vote.

Nice songkran girls. Just shame the nice umbrellas were sponsort by Coca Cola. It'd be so nice with traditionnal umbrellas... too bad advertising in traditionnal event.

My favourite candidate (left pic), for me she was the most pretty... she maybe win, i don't know the result ;) Bilge, if u see this pic, u can see u look like her.. don't u think ? ;) / right : other candidates.
The one in the middle smile to me until her mouth explode, she didn't know i was not part of the jury :p

Devant la guesthouse o� je logais un des membres du personnel et une Sud Africaine s'amuse � lancer de l'eau sur les passants. On n'est pas � l'abris, m�me dans un bus si celui-ci ne ferme pas la porte :) Sanook.

Ci-dessous toute une s�rie de photos de folie furieuse dans les rues de Chiang Mai... le mot d'ordre "Sanuk" amusez-vous !

Ci-dessous (down) : les voitures se parrent de couleurs pour l'�v�nement, je ne connais pas la signification de cela mais je vais me renseigner / cars get ready for the event.

Sometimes u don't spread water on people on the road but u fight with ur partners... Even young ;) it's a real water war.. but always nice and gentle. Few people do it with bad intention.

When a new person want to play Songkran he or she's often been baptize by the other ;)

People who simply walk on the sidewalks are not secure too, everyone can be wet on songkran.. except old person and babies for sure.

The water come directly from the river (clean as i heard but not to my feeling) / sometimes people fall into the water.. too excited maybe :)

Voil� donc r�sum� en quelques photos la f�te de Songkran telle que je l'ai v�cue. Ce fut tr�s sympa et rafra�chissant. N'oublions pas que Songkran se f�te au moment des plus fortes chaleurs dans le pays. Nous avons eu de la chance car dans le nord il fait bien meilleur qu'� Bangkok.
Merci encore � Tim et � son mari pour nous avoir pr�t� leur mobylette, cela nous a permis de voyager � notre gr�s et de voir le plus de choses possibles.

Nouvel an Tha� ou la f�te de l'eau.

Le programme de la journ�e �tait assez simple... lezarder au lit puis on a rendu visite � une amie de kate qui travaille dans une banque � Chiang Mai. Elle nous a donn� rendez-vous le lendemain pour visiter le temple de Doi Suthep avec son mari et leur fille. Cool. Peu de temps apr�s on s'est bien fait arros� en tuk tuk :p pour allez au faire des courses au Tesco (�quivalent du Carrrefour).. bien fun mais bien mouill� aussi... on va s'armer pour la prochaine fois :)

Pour Songkran (nouvel an Tha� et f�te de l'eau) les Tha� s'amusent � arroser tout ce qui passe dans la rue. Nous f�mes partie des victimes comme en atteste cette photo... Vengence sera le maitre mot pour les jours prochains :)

Un peu avant nous �tions all�s manger dans une franchise Pizza Company. Ce n'est pas am�&ricain mais Tha� il parrait. En tout cas c'�tait tr�s bon et moins cher que Pizza Hut. Certains me diront mais pourquoi aller manger une pizza.. eh bien c'est que l'on aime aussi varier les plaisirs ici et ne pas manger "que" Tha�. J'ai trouv� une des serveuses tr�s mignonnes avec ses couettes � la Sylvie Vartan. Je vous montre � quoi cela ressemble en vrai et cela fera plaisir aussi � tout ceux qui me demande comment sont les tha�s. Certaines sont jolies d'autres non, comme partout. Il n'y a pas de miracle ;) Mais il est vrai que beaucoup de filles thais sont jolies. Plus ou moins qu'en France, je ne saurais le dire, tout est affaire de go�t.

Apr�s le repas nous sommes all�s visiter des temples. Je vais vous �viter la litanie des temples de Chiang Mai car il y en a tout autant qu'� Bangkok, c'est � dire pr�s de 300... Je vais m'attarder sur le Phra Vihan Luang car il est tr�s pris� par les habitants de la r�gion qui viennent prier, se recueillir et offrir des offrandes � Buddha.

L'ext�rieur du temple et surtout son entr�e sont remarquable de par la pr�sence des deux serpents qui ornent la facade.
The magnificient methidological serpents ramble from the entrance of the chapel to it's door on the both sides.
It is believed that they are the most beautifull serpents in the north of Thailand.

L'int�rieur du temple n'a rien � envier � l'ext�rieur, jugez-en vous m�me.

Apr�s avoir visiter quelques temples nous sommes rentr�s � notre guesthouse (Riverside guesthouse, pr�s de l'office de tourisme). Le soir nous avons �t� pour la premi�re fois au Night Bazaar, haut lieu touristique de la ville. Un endroit fort charmant. Cela reste enti�rement mercantile mais je pr�f�re cet endroit � beaucoup de march� de Bangkok qui sont trop chaud la journ�e et moins "clean". Cependant on trouve beaucoup plus de choix � Chatuchak � Bangkok mais alors il faut supporter la foule et la chaleur... ici c'est bien plus reposant et agr�able.

Entry of the Night Bazaar with buddhas images for Songkran celebrations/ On trouve de tout au Night Bazaar et les Fran�ais, qui pullulent ici, ne sont pas oubli�s.

D�s l'entr�e dans le march� couvert j'ai �t� surpris par le travail d'artistes qui copient des photos ou tableaux mondialement connus. Ils ne font que copier des photographies connues ou des oeuvres majeures de la peintures et autres, mais le r�sultat est vraiment tr�s impressionant. A quelques m�tres de distance on a l'impression qu'il s'agit d'une photo et non d'un dessin. La copie est une sp�cialit� tha�landaise. Mais ce type de copie "artistique" est loin de me d�plaire et je craquerai volontier pour une ou deux toiles de ce type.. la prochaine fois je n'avais pas de place dans mes bagages.

Some artists copy famous pics or table. U can find the famous Steve Mc Curry pic of the afghan woman with many different kinds and with more or less deep green eyes ;) If u want a Van Gogh no problem too.

Quelques moments apr�s nous sommes all�s nous restaurer au Night Bazaar food center o� un spectale traditionnel �tait offert � nos yeux sur une estrade. Tr�s sympa m�me si ultra touristique. Il ne faut pas d�nigrer ce type de spectacle, car cela permet de mieux conna�tre les danses et la culture Tha�. De plus les danseuses ne cessent de sourire tout au long du spectacle, une vrai performance car nous ne sommes pas � l'op�ra et le public n'est pas toujours reconnaissant... chapeau.

Sur le chemin du retour je me suis arr�t� pour prendre une photo de mes amis de la gente canine tha�landaise. Les chiens sont partout.. vraiment partout et surtout ce sont des chiens errants. Pas agressifs pour la pluspart mais assez souvent l'on voit des articles sur des enfants d�chiquet�s par certains de ces sans abris aux canines bien rod�es. Alors attention ne pas toujours se fier � la bonne gueule du canid�.

In Thailand dogs are everywhere, specially homeless dogs. Take care, if they look cute many of them bites.

Un peu plus loin juste avant de rentr� dormir, je me suis arr�t� pour prendre une photo d'un panneau d'affichage qui vante la f�te de l'eau dans un des caf�s banch�s le long de la rivi�re Mai Ping. On y voit de l'eau qui sort d'un r�cipient pour arroser on ne sait qui ou quoi.. demain vous saurez ;)

Enfin pour finir une petite photo de moi juste avant de dormir. Mon amie Kate a voulu me faire poser dans la position assise, j'ai choisi celle des femmes (les jambes jointes), plus sympa sur le canap� o� j'�tais install�. La position des hommes est celle du lotus normalement, jambes crois�es. Je fais le signe du "Wai" qui signifie bonjour et respect.

Comme nous sommes tr�s fatigu�s du voyage nous avons pass� les 2 premi�res journ�es � nous reposer et � r�cuperer du voyage. Ce n'est pas bien mais on a le temps, Kate est en vacances aussi et ca ne sert � rien de se rendre plus malade ;)

We were tired of the travel cause not sleep in the train. So the program of the first days was simple : sleep, sleep and sleep... what we called frederictherapy ;)

No pics cause nothing to show...

A compter du troisi�me jours les choses ont chang�es et nous sommes partis � la d�couverte de la ville :

je n'ai pas pu remplir mon blog directement sur place car les cybercaf�s du coin ne m'ont pas permis de me connecter avec mon portable ou bien il n'avait pas une technologie assez avanc�e ou bien encore pas de clavier ou d'ordinateur configur� pour les accents francais.
Alors j'ai tap� mes textes et sauvegard� mes photos sur mon ordi et je les met online maintenant, pas d'autre choix.
Le soir et l'apr�s-midi nous avons �t� au fameux Night bazar de Chiang mai. Je me disais que ce n'�tait rien de sp�cial et ultra touristique. Je n'avais pas tord pour le c�t� touristique mais le march� est tr�s sympa en lui m�me. Beaucoup de choses que l'on peut trouver � Bangkok aussi mais certains artisans qui scuplte le bois d'une mani�re prodigieuse. J'ai essay� de faire des photos pour vous montrer mais ce n'est pas facile, ils n'aiment pas. Par contre de tr�s bons dessinateurs copie des photos et les reproduisent en dessins sur des toiles. Le r�sultat est surprenant. Je n'avais jamais vu un travail aussi r�aliste. Ils prennent souvent comme mod�le une photo de Steeve Mc Curry la femme Afghane, c'est marrant car on la retrouve sous diff�rente forme et avec des yeux plus vert que sur la photo. Ils exag�rent certains d�tails pour impressionner la galerie :p
Mais cela reste tr�s r�aliste et superbe. Des portraits de thais ou de chinois sont aussi sublimes et ont moins le c�t� copie de l'oeuvre originale.
Sinon apr�s la balade au march� de nuit nous sommes all�s voir le coin des bars, au bord de la rivi�re Mae Ping. Et l� nous sommes bien tomb�s. Le bar, Riverside est vraiment tr�s sympa mais c'est surtout le groupe qui joue live qui nous a s�duit : superbe r�interpr�tations de tubes rock et pop. Une intrumentation parfaite et une p�che toute thailandaise ;) on reviendra c'est promis :)

Arriv�e � Chiang Mai

Me voil� arriv� dans le Nord de la Tha�lande. Le voyage ne fut pas de tout repos mais je suis bien arriv�.

Je suis donc parti avec mon amie Kate (kai) pour f�ter le nouvel an Tha� (Songkran) et d�couvrir le Nord de la Tha�lande, que je n'ai jamais vu auparavant.
Le trajet en train a �t� un peu difficile pour plusieurs raisons : la clim en seconde classe marche bien.. trop bien finalement on a l'impression d'�tre de v�ritables petits gla�ons au millieu d'un r�frig�rateur � plusieurs compartiments.. c'est le cas de le dire. Nous avons pris des couchettes et malheureusment pour Kate elle avait celle du haut... on s'est vite apper�u apres que les places du haut sont les pires car trop proches de la clim.. grrrr kai kai. Kate aurait du me le dire moi le froid ca ne me fait pas peur, mais elle est trop polie pour oser d�ranger. Dommage. D'ailleurs au retour nous avons eu le m�me probl�me et pas possible d'�changer car nous avions tous les deux des places en haut.

Enfin le froid n'explique pas tout. Les mouvements tr�s prononc�s du train qui se balance all�grement d'un c�t� � l'autre des voies n'aide pas vraiment � trouver le sommeil... en un mot ca bouge pas mal et il nous a �t� difficile de fermer l'oeil de la nuit � cause de cela. Mais le pire aura �t� la proximit� avec un charmant Tha�landais d'�ge m�r. Il avait une bonne t�te (cf photo). Mais de 3h du mat � notre arriv�e � Chiang Mai il n'a pas arr�t� de ronfler et de se racler la gorge.. on a m�me penser qu'il �tait une victime du SARS :)

Notre gentil voisin �tait en fin de compte un adepte de la ronflette et nous a emp�cher de bien dormir....

Je vais un peu vous expliquez comment sont les trains couchettes en Tha�lande car ils sont assez diff�rent des n�tres. Tout d'abord il n'y a pas vraiment de couchettes fixes comme � la SNCF mais pour les couchettes du bas un m�canisme qui fait basculer les si�ges mis face � face. On obtient alors une esp�ce de lit que l'employ� charg� de la confection des lits pare d'un coussinet qui servira de matelas. Eh oui, ici pas besoin de faire son lit, un employ� vous le fait. Je lui tire mon chapeau car il a un travail tr�s important. Il met en moyenne 3 � 4 min pour faire les lits superpos�s. La couchette du haut est plus simple � install� car elle est d'un seul tenant.

Une fois l'installation des couchettes termin�es le train change de look et l'on ne voit plus que enchev�trement de rideaux bleus qui vous isole des passagers qui peuvent circuler librement dans les all�es. Car ici il n'y a pas de compartiments isol�s et ferm�s � clef mais simplement une s�rie de wagons ouverts � qui le veut. Ce n'est pas l'id�al pour la s�curit� mais tout c'est tr�s bien pass�. N�anmoins une circulaire en Thai/Chinois et Anglais est diffus�e au d�but du voyage invitant les passagers � garder pr�s d'eux leurs effets de valeurs. Des policiers des services f�rovi�res passent bien dans les all�es pour surveiller que tout aille bien, mais de fa�on �pisodique.N'emp�che que tout s'est bien pass� et que je trouve ces trains de nuit tr�s s�r. A d�faut d'une exp�rience malheureuse je conseille ce mode de transport, certe tr�s lent mais aussi tr�s peu cher (environ 28 euros l'aller retour).

Les photos ci-dessous ont �t� prises autour de minuit, les compartiments �taient d�sert�s au profit des couchettes. Mais nous n'arrivions pas � dormir.

Depuis notre d�part de Bangkok, j'ai pu m'apercevoir que le train dit "express" s'arr�te en fait presque � toute les petites gares... ce n'est pas notre TGV, on en est tr�s loin, mais ce n'est pas d�sagr�abl� non plus, surtout car de nombreux commerc�ants viennent vous vendre des boissons. Mais attention, pas autant que pour un trajet de courte distance o� l'on vous vend de tout, du poulet � la saucisse bien odorante. Ici, dans un train Bangkok Chiang Mai il y a un certain standing et le voyage n'a rien � envier � nos train corail, la rapidit� en moins.

Voil� il est 8 h du matin.. le train � une heure de retard... c'est normal c'est la Tha�lande, on n'est pas press� :p On a tr�s mal dormi mais on est vivant et tr�s heureux d'�tre arriv�. On a mis quand m�me 2 jours � se remettre de la nuit dans le train. Je vous rassure le retour a �t� beaucoup mieux, du moins en ce qui me concerne, Kate elle a toujours autant souffert de la climatisation, bien trop froide.

Nous voil� � Chiang Mai... la suite un autre jour.

Ce soir je change d'air.

Direction Chiang Mai.

Je pars dans 2 heures pour Chiang Mai, la deuxi�me ville du pays.
Elle se situe � peu pr�s � 800 km au nord de Bangkok. Le voyage va se faire en train avec ma copine Kate (prof d'anglais que je connais d'Internet). J'en ai pour 12 bonnes heures... et ca ne sera pas de tout repos je pense.. enfin on je vous dirai demain car il ne faut pas avoir trop de pr�jug�s.. mais je connais la lenteur des trains thais maintenant... je me m�fie :p
Il n'y avait plus de place en 1er classe alors je voyage en 2e avec la clim il parra�t. Des amis thais ont rigol� quand je leur ai dit qu'il y avait la clim... j'ai peur que ca ne veuille dire qu'on ne la sent pas tant que cela la clim ;)

I move to north Thailand tonight. 800 km far from bangkok. Will give u more news of the trip and life there soon.

Bon ben faut que je finisse ma valise.. sinon je vais louper mon train.. hihi

A demain.

Je quitte Bangkok (gros point vert au centre) � 7 pm pour arriver le lendemain matin � 8 am � Chiang Mai (gros point vert de l'autre c�t� de la ligne... hihi).
800 km, plus ou moins, � une vitesse qui fr�le celle d'une 2 CV � fond de premi�re ^_^

La photo c'est pour les riches.

C'est d�finitivement vrai ce que me disait un ami il y a peu, c'est un loisir de riche. Je suis all� chercher cette apr�s-midi une petite pi�ce en plastique (que j'avais perdue le mois dernier) pour prot�ger l'�cran LCD de mon appareil photo num�rique. Ce simple petit bout de plastoc co�te la modique somme de 1000 baths, soit encore 23 euros, ou pour me d�go�ter encore plus : 1/4 de mon loyer. C'est n'importe quoi !

Il faudrait que les gens de chez Nikon et des autres grands constructeurs arr�tent de nous prendre pour des vaches � lait. Grrrrr

Voil�, je suis calm�. Enfin j'esp�re pour un moment ^_^

SARS ou pneumopathie atypique. Panique sur l'Asie

Ici plus qu'ailleurs certainement le SARS fait beaucoup parl� de lui.

Hier encore il faisait la une du Bangkok post. Les articles ne sont toujours pas rassurant et l'on nage en plein flou m�dical. Faut-il avoir peur de ce virus ou ne pas s'inqui�ter comme les chinois semblent le dire eux-m�me ? (http://www.liberation.fr/page.php?Article=100775 ). Mais peut ton faire confiance en ces m�mes chinois qui n'ont pr�venu l'OMS et la communaut� internationale une fois la maladie leur ayant �chapp� seulement...

Bref entre la guerre en Irak et ce satan� virus il n'y a rien qui ne m'aide � avoir le moral. J'esp�re que de meilleures nouvelles vont enfin venir.

Patpong fin d'apr�s-midi

Hier soir j'�tais dans le quartier de Patpong. Connu dans le monde entier pour ces Gogo bars et ses march�s o� la contrefacon est reine. Je ne suis pas rest� longtemps car j'�tais venu pour voir une amie et faire des courses. J'en ai profit� n�anmoins pour faire deux ou trois photos. A deux heures d'intervalle vous allez voir la transformation d'une rue toute � fait normale pendant la journ�e en une rue o� les commercants se feront un plaisir de vous vendre tout types de produits : contrefa�ons en tout genre et show de filles d�nud�es (+ si affinit� avec votre porte monnaie je suppose).

Patpong.... famous place but finaly nothing interesting to see...

Nothing really interesting to see in fact. U'll see excactly what u come to see : Sex, copy and tourist coming to see what should be a must for some touristic books.
But if u like to see foreigners getting drunk in the bars around or see quite naked girls lightened by neon lights and wearing T string, u'll be in the right place.

Don't loose ur time here.. this not interesting part of Thailand ... but u can come one time to have a look.. it's part of a touristic pack :)

Voici ma premi�re photo du jour.
Here the first pic of the day.

Il s'agit du ferry qui me permet de passer d'un c�t� � l'autre du fleuve Chao Praya. Je l'utilise presque tous les jours pour prendre le M�tro a�rien et me d�placer en ville. C'est un moyen agr�able, au d�but, de se d�placer loin des bouchons l�gendaires engendr�s par le traffic urbain (objet d'une photo tr�s prochainement certainement). Avec l'habitude cette travers�e n'a plus rien de palpitant et on aimerait qu'elle se fasse plus rapidement. Mais cela reste tr�s plaisant car j'aime beaucoup l'eau et cette petite travers�e qui ne dure pas plus de 2mn (sauf traffic fluvial tr�s important, eh oui les bouchons sur le fleuve existent aussi :p), permet d'�tre au contact d'un �l�ment naturel : l'eau, ce qui n'est pas n�gligeable dans une ville o� le b�ton est roi.

Nombreux sont les �coliers (uniformes blancs) � utiliser ce bac. En effet, si les thais appellent ce moyen de transport un ferry, il s'agit plut�t d'un simple bac, pour passer d'un c�t� � l'autre de la rivi�re.

En arri�re plan, la tour CAT. Il s'agit d'une compagnie qui facture les appels t�l�phoniques internationaux.

These pic show the ferry that cross the river Chao Praya. The transfer take only 2 mn if not too much traffic jam on the river (yes... even on river have traffic jam :p). I take this ferry almost everyday to take the skytrain and go in town. Background, the CAT tower, a company that offer international calls for mobile phone.

grrrr Internet en Thailande, la haine....

Je suis d�gout� je l'avoue.

J'avais fait un long texte pour expliquer ma journ�e et mes probl�mes avec le service de la Poste restante de Bangkok mais tout a �t� perdu � cause d'une d�connection r�seau. Ici ca coupe toutes les 30 mn si tu n'as pas de ligne direct. Ca co�te 500 F pour une liaison directe.. trop cher la thailande en ce qui concerne les technologies IT. Enfin.. je vous raconterai cette histoire une autre fois..

Toujours est-il que je vais commencer demain � mettre sur ce blog une photo prise chaque jour.

Ca sera le principe du "Pic of the day". Tous les th�mes pourront �tre abord�s et cela me forcera � me bouger mon popotin les jours o� j'ai la flemme.. ca tombe bien car mon popotin � la facheuse tendance � se complaire sur un lit ou un canap� :p
